Tatiana Tift is a Brooklyn-based writer, director, and arts educator working across dance, narrative and experimental short films. Originally from New Jersey, Tatiana has a diverse background in the creative field, in both the visual and performing arts.

Her creative work revolves around women and touches on themes of identity, memory, and environment.


Her whimsical approach to storytelling has granted her three award-winning short films, el campo (2024), DAWN (2023), Penny for your Thoughts (2023). She has just wrapped on her latest short that is a queer blues retelling of Edgar Allan Poe’s poem, ‘Annabel Lee'.

Tatiana is also the founder of Circadian Summer. A a multidisciplinary production entity that bridges the gap between book arts and film. You can find film related books and zines over here.

Outside of her personal work, Tatiana stays creative by traveling, freelancing, and teaching media arts to elementary and middle schoolers throughout Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan.
